Jango Fett Info

Jango Fett is renowned as the best bounty hunter in the galaxy at the time of Epsiode II. From here on, I must forewarn that there is some "spoiler" information so read at your own risk. However after today, it won't be.... Anyway on with his story. Jango was trained by Jaster Mereel. A warrior very close to, if not one of, the famed Mandalorians. After the Mandalorians were wiped out by the Jedi, Jango, being the only survivor decided to take on the role of a bounty hunter. He wears a form of Mandalorian battle armor out of respect and because of its great versatility. The suit contains, among many things a jetpack, with missiles launcher, wrist blades, catch wires and dual blaster pistols. The helmet has a macrobinoculor viewplate which allows Jango to have full 360 degree vision, a major advantage over his adveraries. Jango has his own ship Slave I which also gives him a big advantage over his enemies. It is the last thing anyone with a reason to be hunted would want to see on their scanners, that is if they can see it for it possesses a cloaking device.

Ok, this is some real spoiler-type info. Jango Fett is the model for all the Clonetroopers, since he is very skilled at both hand-to-hand and armed combat. The first clone is given to Jango as a sort of present and he takes him as his son naming him Boba. Yes, that's right Boba Fett is actually a clone of his "father", Jango Fett. Jango decides to work with the other bounty hunter, Zam Wesell, to essentially keep himself out of the line of fire more, for the sake of his son. And now, a little storyline from the movie relating to Jango. He is hired to assasinate Padme Amidala (formerly known as Queen Amidala). Zam Wesell comes on board and that is about all I know. Anyway, that's where we get the nifty little "familly" shot below. Jango in the middle, Zam on the right and Count Dooku, the one who hired Jango on the left.
